Added

Corporate Actions: Tender Offers (TEND)

We have added support for Actionable corporate actions, specifically Tender Offers (TEND). Unlike mandatory events, these require explicit customer instructions.

  • Note: This actionable event framework allows for explicit customer elections and will be used to support Choice Dividends (CHDV) in future releases.

  • Lifecycle:

    • Announcement: Partners receive a CORPORATE_ACTION_NOTIFICATION webhook containing the offer details (Price, Deadline, Options) after Tradevest Operations team approval.

    • Instruction: Partners collect customer decisions (e.g., "Tender Shares" vs. "Take No Action") and submit them via the API.

    • Submission: The platform generates and sends messages to the custodian.

    • Execution: Upon receipt of confirmation and Pay-Date, the platform processes the debit of shares and credit of cash (Net Amount).

  • New Endpoint: POST /traditional/corporate-actions/{corporateActionId}/instructions

    • Allows partners to submit the chosen option and quantity for a specific corporate action event.

Changed

Post-Trade Fee Processing & Cash Booking

We have updated the post-trade settlement logic for both Traditional and Digital Assets to ensure accurate fee calculation and automated cash booking.

  • Fee Recalculation: Final fees and inducements are now recalculated strictly after an order status reaches FILLED, using the actual execution data.

  • Cash Booking Automation (Fiat Republic):

    • BUY Orders: Immediate "instant settlement" booking of the execution amount plus fees.

    • SELL Orders: Immediate booking of fees and taxes, with the net customer amount settled on T+3.

Webhook: Corporate Action Notification

Updated the CORPORATE_ACTION_NOTIFICATION payload to handle error scenarios more gracefully.

  • New Object: Added validationError to the payload.

  • Usage: This object appears when an action cannot be processed for a specific account (e.g., CUSTOMER_PRODUCT_NOT_SUBJECTABLE_TO_CORPORATE_ACTION).
